Untitled Deicide Roadtrip

This one, is obviously, not particularly finished. It's sort of just two characters in a situation.

Percy

Persimmon, or Percy for short, is the mortal incarnation of the God of the City. He's tired, though. Ruling is hard, and it's especially hard if you're never taken seriously. But as a mortal, everyone worships him. Even then, he can't get away. There's only one way out, and it's to become a mortal. but that requires a ritual, and a willing participant willing to risk the smiting of every other god. Surely no one out there is willing to toss their life away to metaphorically kill him.

Max

Maxwell, or Max for short, is willing to kill a god. Eager to, in fact. It's his best way to make a mark on the world. One that'll really have an impact. That will really shake things up. And he's just been presented with a fantastic opportunity. "Elope" in private, to end the life of the God of the City.

?????

Maxwell and Percy are somewhere they've never been before. It feels familiar, though. It's a city... completely empty of life. Their city, they suppose. but they don't remember who they are, or why they're here. The only thing either remembers is Maxwell's determination to kill a god. The pair doesn't know why, but in an empty world, free of responsibilities or jobs... what else is there to do?
