My personal pet project! These charcaters all started as Homestuck OCs, who slowly grew to have a life of their own. Now they've been safely rehomed into a non-Homestuck environment, where I can subject Nicholas to the horrors. This is by far my favorite writing project, with the most developed characters and plot.

I, in fact, have character pages for all six major characters of the story! These contain plot-relevant information, as well as not-so-plot-relevant information. Take a look if you're interested! If you aren't, there's a brief overview of the plot below.

Nicholas Arkan has been having strange dreams lately. He's been having weird dreams forever, longing for a different life, but ever since an... incident, with his family back at home, they've been worse. He wakes up most nights in a cold sweat, haunted by the fact that someone won't ever forgive him. His mystery girl is in his dreams every night, always leaving. Except when she's killing him.

Those nights are worse than others.

But he's managing. He has... A friend, at least, and she's got a friend who can sort of tolerate him, and an identical twin who can't. He knows Tila from a film class, who took a peculiar interest in him when he came back from break with a mysterious eyepatch (Accident at home. Stop asking.) and even more miserable than before. Her friend, Victoria, is nice enough, though she looks... oddly familiar. She denies she knows him, though, and doesn't seem to appreciate the curiosity. Aika, Tila's brother, seems to hate Nick with a passion. And he can't figure out why.

Every night, the dreams are getting worse. The girl keeps coming back, keeps telling him he's unforgiveable. He could never shake the feeling he'd done something terrible in a past life. And he could never find out what. But things seem to be... building. The dreams, his relationships, the constant feeling he had ruined something beyond repair. He can't take the stress much longer. Something has to give.
